I don’t believe that everyone is doing their best. Maybe it’s just because I don’t feel like I’m doing my best, but then, I see other people who don’t seem to be trying at all. That’s not to say that everyone isn’t doing their best; I’m sure many, if not most, people are.

I’ve been down on myself for the past week for not being productive, and just now, when I was trying to decide what to take a picture of for today’s pic, I had a thought: If they were to give someone else my life, would they do better with it than me?

I can think of at least three people who, if I were able to take over their lives, would flourish beyond their wildest dreams. At least, I think they would. I like to think I have a perspective that they’re missing. On the other hand, they all have shit going on that I don’t know anything about, and it’s all that behind-the-scenes shit that holds most of us back.

Still, I wonder if someone else could do my life better than me, and if so, what would they do differently? Now, if I could answer that question, I could just apply the answer to my life and bypass the middleman. And around and around we go.
