So, I got this error when I opened Premiere Pro today: Video filter missing: Insta360 Reframe V2. I couldn’t understand why the filter was missing since I had just installed the latest version. It turned out the new version didn’t replace the old version; it deleted it, so now I have to go through 30+ hours of 360º footage that has already been framed, delete the old plug-in, add the new plug-in to each clip, and reframe everything.

You know, I don’t often sympathize with the Ludites who think technology is some kind of curse or something, but on days like today, I sort of see their point.
