Bonnie took the day off from work for her birthday, and she wanted to check out the flea market. It was mostly a bust, but we both found a couple of cool things.

I found a Sony AC-220 that I’ve been looking for for years. I asked the guy how much he wanted for it, and he said, “A dollar.” I had to ask him a second time to make sure I heard him right, and again, he said, “A dollar. I don’t even know what it is, but you can have it for a dollar.” I didn’t say a word, I just handed him a dollar. I had no doubt it would work – it’s just a transformer after all, there’s not much that could go wrong with it – and it did, but for $1, I didn’t care either way.

For lunch, we ate tacos and burritos, and then we went to a bunch of smelly, overcrowded thrift shops filled with worthless garbage, and this Howdy Doody doll that seems to have had enough of smelly, overcrowded thrift shops.
