The sun is at its lowest point in the sky today. From here, it makes its slow but predictable return to the top of the sky to oppress us with insufferable heat. Honestly, though, it’s been so hot this month, what difference does it make? Summer, winter, it’s all the same thing at this point; one long, interminable heatwave.
