Holy Smokes! What A Difference!

It couldn’t look any newer without being new, and it only cost $25!

I cleaned the vinyl with Meguiar’s #40, but it wasn’t quite enough, so I hosed it down again and then sprinkled a mild abrasive powder on it and scrubbed it with a brush. That got a lot of the stains out, but no amount of cleaning was going to restore the color of the faded vinyl.

So, I found a leather/vinyl dye kit on Amazon, and wow! What a difference! Even rushing through the job, not waiting long enough between coats, I still got amazing results.

Now, when my head touches the vinyl, I won’t immediately think about how disgusting it was.
