I see stuff like this all the time, and I always wonder why anyone would bother. I know my son would always pluck a lemon off a tree on his way to Circle K, and then impale it on the top of an adjacent chainlink fence, so it isn’t a total mystery, but I still don’t understand why.

In this case, it was probably also a kid, but where the fuck did they find a bunch of plantains? And when they found it, why did they decide to abandon it on top of this fence? I know it’s not deep, but this sort of wanton destruction has always perplexed me. I’ve never felt the need to damage or destroy things, so when I see stuff like this, I can’t help but wonder what was going through the perpetrator’s mind.
