Several years ago, I was riding my bike, and I found this old hat rack sitting on the sidewalk in the middle of a bridge near my house. I’m sure some kids had intended to toss it into the creek below, but abandoned their plans for whatever reason. As I rode by, I grabbed it and took it home.

Initially, I was going to fix it up, but that never happened. I don’t have anywhere to put it anyway. So, this morning, I threw it up on Facebook Marketplace and sold it for $10. The money I make from selling other people’s trash is always the most satisfying.
