I don’t know why, but my initial reaction to seeing this package of almonds was that someone just gave up on doing their job because obviously, smoke-flavoured isn’t going to sell anything.

Is smoke a flavor? Hickory is a flavor, and it’s added to things by smoking it, but is smoke itself a flavor? What kind of smoke are these almonds flavored with? Cherry? Wildfire? Cigarette? Hell, cigarettes aren’t even sold on their smoky flavor.

I don’t know. I’m in a funk today, and I hate everything.
