Last year, I baked my very first pie, and it was so fucking good, I hesitated to ever bake another pie again because I knew nothing could ever live up to that first one. This year, however, I picked a whole ass shopping cart full of apples, so rather than let them go to waste, I risked a sophomore slump and baked another pie, and I was not dissapointed. This year’s pie is at least as good as last year’s, and since I haven’t even made a dent in my apple stock, there are many more pies in my future.
