So, We’re Just Selling Garbage Now, Is That It?

I needed sand topping mix to finish the patio around my firepit, so I went up to Lowe’s this evening to pick up a bag. I don’t know how many I’ll need, but I figured one would be a good start. Lowe’s had a whole pallet, but as I got closer to it, something looked off. The bags were all discolored and faded like they had been left out in the sun for a long time.

Every bag in the stack had been wet. I don’t know if the pallet had been left outside in the rain or if the rain snuck into the building, but these were no longer bags of cement, they were blocks. I was able to find a bag that was only hard in one corner, so I bought that one. Hopefully, I won’t need any more. Otherwise, I’ll have to go to the big orange store
