I thought, when I got my drone, that I would be able to take pictures of the most breathtaking sunsets the world had ever seen: no buildings, trees, mountains, powerlines, or any other obstructions between me and the sunset. What I discovered, however, was that despite all of the impediments I had to circumvent on the ground, the sunset wasn’t anywhere near as beautiful from 400 feet up as it is from 6 feet.
