This Is The Only Way I Want To Hear Live Music From Now On
Never in my life have I had a band just randomly set up outside my living room window and play for two hours, until this afternoon. I figured their band name must be The Creepers because they set up in the bushes, but when they kicked off their set at 4 p.m., I decided a better name would be “In Bed By Nine.” They could kick off every show by saying, “Hello! We’re “In Bed By Nine!” But later, when the geriatric dancing began, I realized their name should be the “Hip Replacements.”
One of the guys had a flute. He busted it out for a Jethro Tull tune. I wondered if they also did any Marshall Tucker to get their money’s worth out of it, and sure enough, they did, but not before Down Under by Men At Work.
It was nothing that I would for, nor pay money to see, but it was a pleasant surprise and a nice way to pass a Sunday afternoon. 10/10 no notes.
