About two and a half years ago, my kid was recording a podcast using my gear. For Christmas that year, I got him his own podcast setup. Before I gave him his own stuff, though, he recorded one final podcast using my equipment, but when he gave it back, one of my Shure SM-58 microphones was missing, along with the mic stand clip and cord.

I asked him for it, but he argued with me and said he didn’t have it. I told him he was the last one to use it; he must have it somewhere, but he was adamant that he didn’t. Well, whaddya know? It mysteriously appeared this afternoon in his room along with the cord and clip, just like I knew it eventually would.
