What Kind of Misenthropic, Psycopathic, Nihilistic, Anti-Social Chaos Is This?
This dresser was a fixture in the house I grew up in, but it wasn’t until a few years ago, when I would visit my mom, that I noticed that the three drawers on the right don’t match the other six drawers. I mean, I always knew three of the drawers didn’t match the other six, but I always remembered them occupying the three middle spaces, and I wondered why my mom had shifted them to the right.

It wasn’t until I was loading them in the van yesterday that I realized that the three right drawers are smaller than the other six, so apparently, they were never in the middle. It must be another one of those Mandela Effects. Even in this picture of me at Christmas in 1987, they were on the right.

Bonnie hates it as much as I do, so I guess the moral of the story is, find someone who shares your disdain for asymmetry.
