What’s Wrong With Me?

Richard

I finally sold the air compressor today! It’s been a long six months of not being able to move around the damn thing, ever since that asshole, months ago, told me he was coming to buy it, so I disconnected it and unmounted it, only for him to show up and decide he didn’t want it.

That’s not all, though. I sold the woodchipper today as well. The woman who bought it brought a sunflower stalk and a tree branch to test it out with. I’m so glad I went to the trouble of making a video to demonstrate that it worked. Yesterday, I sold a miter saw and a knife sharpener, and on Friday, I sold a pair of drywall stilts, so I reclaimed a bunch of space this weekend. But then, I immediately started filling it back up.

One of my neighbors put this dresser out at the curb. Ordinarily, I wouldn’t have given it a second glance, but that my kid is in need of one. After driving past it all day, I stopped to look at it after my bike ride this evening, and I was impressed by how nicely it was made. One of the drawer faces fell off, but that’s an easy fix, so I brought it home.

I’m going to try to flip it like I see people claim to do online. I don’t believe they actually sell the items they refurbish for the prices they say they do. Who’s buying all of this rehabbed furniture? I guess I’ll find out.
